WEBSITE:

Inspired by the musician and global icon, Taylor Alison Swift, I chose sepia tones. I've also opted for a visitor friendly flow with lots of paths that lead to the same destination to make it easy to find the information you're looking for.

TECH PHILOSOPHY:

My Technology Philosophy focuses on the intentional and appropriate use of philosophy in the classroom, as a means to leverage interaction, collaboration, and engagement.

LESSONUP GUIDE:

This slideshow uses the LessonUp tool to guide new users through its useful features, along with examples of how they might be used in the classroom.

Multimedia Project (How to Make Hot Sauce):

In this video, I use Adobe Express (formerly Adobe Spark) to create a tutorial on making hot sauce.

Collaborative Project:

For this project, my team and I chose to create a slideshow bringing the basics of SEL to educators. We used generative AI in Pear Deck to get things started, and then used Google Slides to collaborate on the project as we completed it.

Understanding and Implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

VR Lesson Plan:

For this lesson plan, I used VR as a virtual field trip to start a conversation about the contributions of global art and architecture in the history of the United States, as well as the troubling history behind the acquisition of some of these artifacts.

Technology-Enhanced Assessment:

In this project, I used a tool called Gibbly to create a quiz enhanced by AI and hand-crafted immediate feedback presented that can be presented to students virtually.

Final Project:

For my final project, I created a video presentation on gamification and its potential applications in the classroom, and the necessary elements to keep in mind as gamification is attempted.

I also created a TEDEd lesson that gives a 5 question quiz/review and an opportunity for discussion.
